Sunday Times Best Green Company Award
UKOS selected as one of the greenest business in Britain by The Sunday Times.
Ranked at 22, from the top selected 60 companies in britain, and 4th from a survey to find the greenest employees. UKOS featured in a dedicated supplement in The Sunday Times paper.
Uniquely, the Best Green Companies survey takes account of the views of employees – who get to rate their organisations green credentials – as well as assessing the environmental performance, policies and practices of businesses.
In the employee survey, UKOS achieved an incredible 100% positive green score for staff thinking, practically everyone is aware of our green policy (99%), and 95% of our employees believe we do everything we can to minimise impact on the environment.
The employer survey, which accounts for 70% of the of the final ranking, shows a commitment to carbon reduction and highlights sustainable business practice as an integral part of our company culture with strict guidelines for reducing energy usage and waste.
Of equal importance, is our dedication to meeting and exceeding our customers demands for green solutions through a full range of environmentally friendly products, along with options for a more sustainable procurement process including reusable packaging, recycling services, and reduced delivery schedules.
